The Speculist and Fast Forward Radio have been delivering a special summer podcast series, The World Transformed 2. According to their promo, the series includes "talking to 30 futurists, visionaries, and otherwise fascinating people in an attempt to assemble a better picture of the major transformations to our world that are occurring now (or are likely to occur soon.)" Panelists over the two months of shows include J. Storrs Hall and Ray Kurzweil. On August 3, I will be on the Reality Transformed panel along with Dr. Bruce Katz and Natasha Vita-More. Feel free to tune in!

I listened to this last night. It was good, but just as it really started to get interesting with Jim talking about evidence for a simulated universe (quantized spacetime) it finished. I wanted to hear more of this.

I hear ya, EKUMA1981. I think we needed at least another 30 minutes to delve into the simulation idea. Sorry it seemed short.

There are definitely podcasts out there with more on the simulation evidence, if you are looking for that. I put links to some of them here.

Natasha Vita-More? I saw her interview FM-2030 years back (& posted it here!). Did you get to 'chinwag' with her, Jim?

There is no spoon.

Just a tiny bit of chinwagging during commercial breaks, Neo. :) (not finding a chinwag smiley)
