My latest blog examines the probabilities that our media broadcasts could make it all the way to Exosolar planet Gliese 581g, which some astronomers claim has a 100% chance of life:

The citizens of Gliese 581g have no interest in watching Earth video broadcasts.
They got Holographic Big Screen Wide Screen 3-D TV.
Minus the glasses.
Sony and Toshiba got 3-D, but it "In your face 3-D TV."

We need a 'Manhattan Project' or 'Apollo Mission' type thing, for 3-D TV.
